The Oyo State Government has presented another batch of the certificates of occupancy to applicants under the Oyo State Home Owners Charter Scheme.

The Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Barrister Aboodun Abdulraheem while presenting the certificates to beneficiaries, said the acquisition of the new C of O is within sixty days from the date of submission of application form.

He maintained that oyo state is working towards making it possible within thirty days.

According to him, the certificates of occupancy can be used to access other opportunities that abound in the economy.

The permanent secretary, ministry of lands, housing and urban development, Mr Ademola Ajibola commended the people for the confidence reposed in the present administration.

According to him, with OYHOC, all bottlenecks that usually lead to delay of processing certificates of occupancy has been eliminated.

Beneficiaries lauded the initiative which according to them has made life easier for home owners.

It will be recalled that a few weeks ago, the Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde launched the homeowner’s charter electronic C of O to enable homeowners regularized their land documents as part of efforts to lessen the pains of the current economic downturn.
