Oyo State Government has reiterated that anyone trying to sabotage the efforts of the government in the recruiting exercise of the ongoing AMOTEKUN corp’s will be seriously dealt with henceforth.
This was in accordance with the way a cybercafe operator name Adeyemi Agboola who got apprehended at the Oyo zone recruitment exercise held at the Dubar Stadium, Oyo town on Monday 21st of September 2020.
The suspect who had his business name as the Mercy Cybercafe at Mobolaje Adeyemi Road, Oyo agreed to the crime-related issue that he edited the Government recruitment form and sold them to the victims who are job seekers at the rate of five hundred naira only.
The cyber cafe operator claimed that he only utilized the opportunity he found to extort the victims.
One of the victims who were semi-illiterate said he was not aware of the difference in the imitated form until he was caught with it.
He commandant of the AMOTEKUN operations ,Colonel Olayanju Olayinka (rtd)said that anyone caught in such mischievous acts will dealt with mischievously,he therefore handed the suspected person to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for further prosecution.
He also enjoined all other and future participants from other zones to desists from fraudulent acts and that applicants should always be very wary of the cyber operators the patronized.
The screening exercise team therefore proceeds to Ogbomoso/Oriire for the exercise to be hold on the Thursday 24th of September 2020 at Ogbomoso Township stadium ,while Ogbomoso North / South participants will be screened on Friday 25th September and that of the Surulere will comes up on Saturday the 26th of September 2020 all at the Ogbomoso Township stadium.
Colonel Olayanju therefore enjoined all applicants to adhere strictly to the timetable scheduled of the exercise.
